Some notes in no particular odor...
1.
Aaron Stinnie (UDFA, Titans) will play Guard in hopes of making the roster.
2.
Daniel Brown (Bears) is not practicing as he's out currently with an ankle injury.
3. As previously mentioned in another thread,
Arthur Moats will be the keynote speaker at tomorrow's CAA Football Media Day event in Baltimore. Hopefully, Madia or someone will ask Arthur about his prospects of playing another year in the NFL with training camps opening up in full swing this week.
4.
Josh Wells did a good job in Jacksonville last year. Started some. Played backup some. But overall he did enough to keep himself in the hunt for making the roster this year. He will be competing for a backup tackle slot this August and you have to think if he performs to his abilities his experience will land him on the Jags' 53-man roster come Labor Day weekend.
5. Charlottesville's Kyle Long is coming off multiple surgeries and is being given some off days during preseason camp. This past Saturday, recent signee
Earl Watford stepped into Long's spot at Right Guard for the Bears. Watford's experience is welcome and with Long's inability to stay healthy the last couple of years, that experience could come in handy as far as Watford's chances of making the team - and, getting significant playing time.
6.
Rashard Davis needs to have a good camp and perform well in preseason games in his quest to make the roster as the backup slot receiver in Philly. With Darren Sproles returning from injury, it is unlikely anyone will unseat Sproles in the kick/punt return game though Sproles making it through an entire season healthy remains to be seen. It's unclear whether Davis will get any looks as a returner.
7.
Raven Greene getting some notice in Green Bay as a potential "under the radar guy" who could surprise this August...

We're getting closer to "THAT" time of year.
