RE: Pro Dukes
Just a quick aside- our FBS opponent from last season did not have a single player drafted (2nd time in the last 3 years). That's not the ECU that I used to know.

Unfortunately it would appear that none of our Dukes got signed out of their rookie mini camp invites, but I hope I'm wrong. Anyone heard anything on the contrary?

Raven Greene is the only one to have gone through RMC yet and as an UDFA signing (as opposed to RMC invite signing) he is still on the 90-man roster with the team after the conclusion of the RMC. I stuck some pictures at bottom of this post.

Everyone else is up for consideration at RMC's this weekend:
Tennessee Titans - May 11-13 (Ankrah, Brown, and Stinnie)
Cincinnati Bengals - May 11-13 (Robinson)
Chicago Bears - May 11-13 (Schor)

The Las Vegas Aces played a preseason game against the Chinese National Team in Vegas on Sunday. Tamera Young had nine points, five assists, and this cool picture.

Tamera was the first JMU WBB player I saw who “played like a guy”. She just has a very athletic range of motion & has an almost MJ-like flair with the ball at times.

FYI - also an absolute fox as I sat beside her in science class.

I don't see anyway Ish can make an NFL team. He simply drops too many balls.

THIS is awesome! Great to see some recognition from the pro league of the talent our lacrosse team has. Not sure what kind of career potential this league has for players but still cool!

I was wondering about this myself, so I looked it up. There is an existing women's pro league, the United Women's Lacrosse League. It hasn't been around for long, but it was at least planning to pay small stipends to players this year, which is a significant step for any upstart league. These picks are for a new league, the Women's Pro Lacrosse League which will start play this summer. Both leagues have 4 teams in the mid-atlantic/NE, which makes sense as it's the hotbed for lacrosse in the US. In the article, though, the leadership of the previously existing league says there isn't enough room for both.
