Monday Musings - fanfrompowellspub - 11-28-2022 06:02 AM

On a rainy Sunday the Convocation Center emptied out with fans shaking their heads after another loss to a team no one has heard of. Looking at the UCSANDIEGO roster three of their big men are in their 6th year while most of our players were in middle school when some of the Tritons played college. While basketball was in the spotlight football won 3 games in a row to steal a share of the MAC west. Maybe some of us may get our wish as Chris Creighton will probably be busy this week with interviews possibly in Cincinnati, New Orleans, Tulsa, and maybe Virginia. Here here to hoping the football team gets a decent trip and a game they can win.
O/T is Red Rock reopening anytime soon?

I have no idea where this UofM QB will transfer. He is from Nevada.

Really impressed with our football team academic achievements. Looking at their majors, there’s no basket weaving education but very difficult degrees such as mechanical engineering, physics, finance, international business, biochemistry, MBA, BA, etc - really impressive ambassadors who will become leaders of men in their families, communities and workplace.

As a player's parent, this is one of the things I truly value about the program Chris Creighton runs. These young men are benefitting from the guidance of a program that values them as student-athletes, not just football players.

I don't have warm feelings for Bennie boy but I am sorry he got hurt. While at lot of guys sat out that game to prep for the draft, I am certain that was not his motivation for doing so. He could throw the ball, but honestly, I don't see him destroying WMU and CMU like Powell did.
