Ball State @Miami game is on ESPN+ so that ESPN2 can televise Temple vs. Richmond basketball game. MAC should have just moved that game to this Saturday.

Well, Ohio taking hold of their destiny against a possibly hungover BG squad. And Ball State less than a quarter away from the Bahamas, up 17-6. Cards have probably been the most unpredictable of a very unpredictable MAC this year.

Been a crazy year in the MAC for sure, but one thing that has been quite predictable over the last 6 years is BSU finding different ways to lose close games to Miami. Go RedHawks!

Definitely not. The game was a snooze for almost entire first half as well.
Toledo is just an average team beating up on a bad MAC West this season. I'm not sure there is a single good team this year in the MAC. Maybe Ohio, if they can win against a good bowl team.

This is the worst MAC season in a LONG while. I would say EMU and Ohio are the only improved teams, EMU assumed by a little bit considering how bad the conference is. Ohio though, very easy for them to be improved, but they improved a lot -- and I think with a new coaching staff they're better than they were starting out, so if they beat Toledo (which they should be favored), I would assume they will be the only MAC team to be able to beat a solid G5 (or lower P5) in a bowl this year.

EMU was a close win against Toledo away from their first West title, and imo Creighton would likely be hired away somewhere else (especially if they won the MACC). Nine wins, a P5 win, and a track record showing a rebuild at one of the hardest FBS jobs is impressive. I'd argue that he'd be a great hire for a lot of programs looking to rebuild even as-is, but it's not very sexy from their POV to hire a coach who hasn't even won his division in one of the weaker FBS conferences.

Lost by 6 to BG (4 turnovers, no Finn, broken left hand for Gleason for 3qtrs)
Lost by 6 to WMU (4 turnovers, Finn for 2 drives, Gleason 4 days after hand surgery).
These are excuses. But pretty good ones. Toledo wont be healthy for Ohio so its moot, but no one has pulled away since Ohio State. Toledo will try to be competitive. Even with a bottom 10 turnover margain in the country.

Just cancel the Akron game. This team doesn't deserve to go to a bowl. Lost to an FCS team, blew a 17-point halftime lead to a 3-6 team, blew a 14-point fourth quarter lead to a 4-7 team, can't even execute a coin flip decision right. Ridiculous.

Is that fact that a 3rd string freshman QB engineered a 4th Qtr and OT comeback win down double digits?!?
That has to be the last straw in a truly embarrassing year for the UB program and fans. Giving up a hail mary for a loss and multiple blown second half leads. Just awful.
