Good solid one-bid conference this year.

Yea, 5 teams that are within striking distance of getting their NET in a "bubble" range. Will they have enough good wins? Each team has a couple .. along with some bad losses though. Gonna take a really good run by one or two for it not to be a 1 bid league.

I think at least one will make a run and if one can pull an upset of Houston along the way would make two very possible.

I think the league more likely gets 2 rather than just 1

Damn UTSA... y'all are twice as bad as we (ECU) are.

Even in the new look AAC, there's still 5 teams currently in the top 80 vs 6 right now.

SMU is in good position to grab a bid IMHO. They have already played 5 AAC road games, winning 4 of them. That leaves them with home games for the most part and winning at Moody is tough. Plus, the AAC tourney is in their back yard.

Nine of Houston's last 12 games are against this group, including five on the road vs. the group.

The "meat" of the schedule. I expect several Ls.

I think several is probably an exaggeration, but I'd expect them to lose 2-3 games.

I think UH will win most but a couple of loses would help that team out.

Is 2-3 not several? And, sounds about right.

RE: Latest NET basketball ratings - mustangxc - 01-28-2022 11:34 PM

2-3 would be a couple, several is more than that. I would say 5+

Losses helps teams how?

RE: Latest NET basketball ratings - ShockerFever - 01-28-2022 11:48 PM

The only way this league is getting 2 in is if Houston loses in the conference tournament. Period.

Optimists can do their thang, but I’m here to provide the reality check.

smu has a net of 50... why are making it seem like an impossibility

they are favored in every game but its Houston games ... going 9-2 the rest of the way and they are probably 8 or 9 seed not even sweating on selection Sunday

they can probably survive 7-4 if its the right quality loss (like @wichita)

not even adding they might sneak a win vs an injured houston... they sweep houston and winout they might get a 5-6 seed...

not sure why you are making it seem like all the doors are already closed

Says the guy whose team is in 9th place in the AAC and is 10-7 overall. Two or more teams can get in with all of February and early March to go. WSU won't be one of them. Sorry dude, Marshall getting canned was a biitch.
