Not sure what to make of the Zips this season. They have won 4 straight MAC games, but 3 of them were against WMU & EMU at home, and CMU on the road, and only won those games by 1, 2 and 4 point margins. However, Akron always has athletes and this year is no exception. Should be a very competitive game like the Buffalo game the other night. It is important that we protect home court as we play the next two on the road at EMU and Ball St before a very important home rematch with Ohio U. Speaking of OU, they are playing at Buffalo tonight which should be a very good game as well

Zips Net is 151. That usually is about 6th or 7th in the MAC. This year its 4th and not very close to 5th.

I was thinking the same. We seem slow & just not into this match-up of “top tier” MAC teams. No swagger tonight.
