For the record. There were not 12,300 butts in the seats. Probably closer to 10,000.

It’s not to diminish what NMSU has done. It’s saying, that the rest of the WAC doesn’t have that, so “bragging” about your good attendance, should be expected with those kind of results. Being a basketball Independent in the 60s, is a lot different than being an Independent today.
