When is the last time we won three D1 games in the same season? How about those Cougars!

Not all that long.But its been over a decade since CSU was over .500. They were 19-13 and pretty competitive, beating teams from lots of different leagues. Since then, there have been some decent seasons with double digit wins, but the last 6-7 have been the pits. There are some winnable conference games, but the schedule is unfavorable for Chicago State. Several of the more winnable games are road games without a return matchup.
But being 3-0 at home is great, and they have winnable coming up against Northern Illinois, and maybe a close game against Illinois State. Then a brutal 5 game road swing. In the road swing, the best chance for a win is at IUPUI. Drake, Iowa State, GCU, and NMSU will be tough games for such a new team.
