True dat. If they did a lot of us would be in trouble. Especially a conference up in the middle eastern states.

The MAC would be in deep kaka

RE: Home Football Attendance (New CUSA) - MinerInWisconsin - 11-18-2021 07:33 PM

Some years ago when the ncaa pretended to care about attendance and Eastern Michigan was struggling they would have the athletic department buy enough of their own tickets to report a 15k average. More than one way to skin a cat.

I think Akron had fans "pay" with a canned food donation as well.

Don't try too play innocent. Highlighting Tech's attendance when it wasn't even the worst one listed. And then asking what NCAA minimal requirements are for attendance. What's funny is South Alabama's is just as bad. Plus your school is in a city over 6 times the size of Ruston. That is sad.

NDSU

9 games per year (since there are 3 playoff games)

17,500. Post COVID
24,000 2019 (36,000 @ Target Field )
18,700
18,600
18,650
19,100

Schools should have to put pictures with their numbers. Everyone would be amazed at the size crowd 20,000 really looks like.

RE: Home Football Attendance (New CUSA) - sstaedtler88 - 11-25-2021 09:58 AM

Liberty had COVID issues during their first game as much of campus had went online which kept numbers down. The Louisiana game, kids had left for Thanksgiving break 2 days prior, which kept numbers down as well. Middle Tenn. was homecoming so that is why it was better attended. One of the reasons Liberty hasn't had great crowds over the last several years is very weak opponents at home. I mean, who gets excited to be at UMass by 45? With conference games and every game meaning something, I think this will help for crowds.

RE: Home Football Attendance (New CUSA) - Todor - 11-28-2021 03:36 AM

I tried to dig a little and see if FIU had attendance figures hidden away somewhere. No luck.

Instead, I found this article from a couple of weeks ago, relating to their attendance and football overall.
