CAA Football Branding - jcohen42 - 10-29-2021 02:09 PM

As an outsider when it comes to CAA Football, I am curious:
  1. Do you think CAA Football still benefits from sharing branding with the main CAA?
  2. Would this change if the CAA were to lose the southern schools to the SoCon?
  3. Even if you think CAA Football would benefit from rebranding, how likely do you think a rebrand actually would be?

I don’t see the point in rebranding CAA Football unless it was fully spun off from the CAA with different offices, a different commissioner, different TV deals etc.

So, is there any benefit to doing that? Getting out of the Flo deal in particular?

Everyone wants out of the Flo deal, with that said as a top FCS league I am not sure it benefits anyone to rebrand vs reload

Right—letting America East take over football without a fight could mean a new tv contract.
