Wonder if CUSA will go after UMass FB Only as a travel partner for UConn. Imagine the "BIG BUCKS" these schools can make traveling to UTEP and NMST. At least it will give these schools access to the play off system and leave 4 games for regional and high profit one and done beatdown P5 games.

I wonder if Temple would be interested in a similar situation (Big East/cusa for football) with the changes to the aac looming. I guess as long as the money is better and Memphis is still in it, they'll stand pat.

If the CUSA can get 1 H/H yr with UCONN bball as part of the deal its a no brainer.
CUSA is so desperate they will probably take UCONN football with no strings. Sucks for them.

To be fair, UConn's independent football contract with CBSSN is reported to be about a half a million a year.
CFP money would get at 1/10th of the annual Husky football deficit: even if the lowest of payouts for non-contract-bowl conferences, that could be over a million per member, vs independents' $300k.
