I finally made the decision to grab tickets for the game. I'm just going with my girlfriend, so we'll need to find a group if we're going to do any tailgating. I know the alumni association had something going on, but that appears to be sold out. The Republic of Cincinnati usually has something going on too, but I'm wondering what other options there might be like nearby bars, etc. I guess we'll need to have some sort of lunch plan as well. I've never been up there, so any advice is appreciated!

I have never been but everything I've read, and heard from those who have been, say to get a steak sandwich from the Knights of Columbus. Appears to be an actual steak on a hoagie bun. Seems to be worth the money.
Also, it seems to be a game day tradition for student organizations to open pop up food stands all over campus as fundraisers. Should be plenty of options all over campus.

As fans, we can pontificate on whatever matchups we want at any time. Now if the team is drawing up pregame ND threads on the blackboard in the locker room… thats a different problem.

Losing Kurt Hinsch will hurt. He's one of their captains. He's a 5th year player who used his COVID year to stay a 5th year. He's started in 28 straight games.
He was 3rd on the team in tackles-for-loss last year. He doesn't have an stereotypical NFL-type body but is being talked about on draft boards anyway as a potential 3rd day draft pick.
