Latest. Matt Brown confirmed that Chicago State would love into the MEAC but well, not reciprocated

CSU, according to this source, is agreeable to a deal that would make it a full MEAC member for three years. After that time is up, it can either stay on as a full member or move to another conference.

I feel bad for Chicago St. it sucks that things didn’t work out with the WAC. But they were such an outlier geographically. I know the same could be said about Seattle but I feel like it’s not as bad as we have some western schools that kind of soften that. I guess after years of being an NMSU fan and being an outlier, being the school that was terrible in a sport, etc. I feel their pain. Hope they find a home for the long haul.

Chicago State’s problem was never location. It’s everything else.
