Some(including myself) have noticed NoDak's absence for awhile. His brother just posted on UND's message board that he passed away this summer.

Wow, that's a real shocker. He was combative and crazy, at least in his postings, but like him or not, he was a big part of our board.

So sad to hear. Personally, him and I got along well and always had good interactions with each other, which I enjoyed and treasure. He was extremely knowledgeable about college hockey, so I always looked forward to his input when college hockey threads popped up, and we had good conversation on those topics. Hope all was well with him.
He posted crazy ideas on other topics, but I took it in good fun. He definitely spiced up the board.
I'm glad I got to interact with him on here.

Wow too bad. Like many I disagreed with a lot of what he said but I always really enjoyed reading the back and forth. He brought a lot of entertainment to the board and he’ll be missed. My prayers are with his family.
