FBS Games Canceled/Moved/Postponed .... November 26-28 - quo vadis - 11-22-2020 01:09 PM
No MACtion this week, so the games will be played Thanksgiving through Saturday.
As usual, please post information about FBS game postponed/canceled/moved that are *currently*, as of Sunday, November 22nd, scheduled to be played between Thursday November 26 and Saturday November 28.
No need to post about changes that were announced before November 22nd, we are trying to track fresh events. Last week we set another record with 18 such games, let's keep fingers crossed. So far, as of Saturday morning there have been 19 games canceled/postponed and 2 new games created for a net loss of 17 for the weekend:

Apple Cup is cancelled. New Pac 12 protocols allow Washington (it's Wazzu's CV19 issue) to play perhaps BYU or San Diego State if they have a mind to do so.

The hangup on scheduling a WASH vs BYU game seems to be the fear that Utah vs ASU will be canceled, forcing WASH to play Utah. But since Utah vs ASU has been moved, that creates more optimism that a WASH/BYU matchup can be made.

Yes, while Utah-BYU would be ideal for us fans, it's not possible for BYU to play Utah, because with Washington already looking for a game, if Utah becomes available due to an ASU cancel, Utah would have to play Washington.

Louisiana Tech @ FIU postponed because FIU won't have enough players at a key position.
Western Kentucky @ Charlotte moved from Saturday to Tuesday Dec. 1 at 10:30 a.m. That might also affect the FIU @ Charlotte game, set for Dec. 5.

Missouri-Arkansas (Covid) and Tennessee-Vandy (SEC decision) are off . Missouri-Vandy is on. Other two are TBD (but will probably be in 12/19.)

Ironic. Missouri isn't eliminated yet so TN-Vandy gets indefinitely postponed. Tennessee is eliminated.
They are trying to reschedule Missouri-Georgia on 12/12 if needed.

Weird. I could’ve sworn Tennessee had to reschedule the Texas A&M game for 12/12.... maybe I’m wrong though.

The cancellation ends the longest uninterrupted series in FBS history, with Minnesota and Wisconsin having played 113 consecutive years from 1907 to 2019.
