John Feinstein: Cincinnati & BYU are making a case for the CFP. Is anyone listening? - Bearhawkeye - 11-19-2020 04:43 PM

The more exposure this article gets the better so I figured I'd give it its own thread:

Cincinnati and BYU are making a case for the College Football Playoff. Is anyone listening?

NO! It is not going to happen. I doubt anyone herein could join Camargo Country Club. UC or BYU are not going to be invited to the CLUB.

Lol. I played there regularly during my time at UC. Was Doss that guy peeking through the fence?

Playing and joining are quite different. For the record golf was not my game.

I don't think Camargo ever let in Uncle Carl Linder? My Uncle almost made the PGA tourney as some sort of at large playing at Camargo. And no he was not a member. This was from my shanty Irish side of the family. What do these ultra exclusive clubs do for members these days, Moloch Child sacrifice?

Carl was not allowed to join because he was new rich. Also some did not like a high school dropout from Norwood buying Barney Kroger’s bank. Now his kids could. Carl joined Kenwood.

I'll take the publicity!

None of this matters thou if UC doesn't take care of business on Saturday. A loss and UC is an afterthought. A win an UC remains in the discussion. A blowout win and UC makes the committee's decision very very hard.

As of 11:30 am EST a picture of Dez Ridder is on the front page main story of ESPN.com with the title: What needs to happen for Alabama, Notre Dame, Cincinnati and more to make the CFP.

Why is Dez not holding the threads on the football?

Most quarterbacks at that level have the hand size and ability to not need to find the laces on every throw.
