Northern Illinois University Athletics invites all friends, supporters and alumni to show their support for the Huskies’ 17 sport programs and more than 400 student-athletes during Huskies Invest: The Campaign, beginning today, October 5, and running through mid-November.
The annual fundraising effort takes on increased importance in 2020 as NIU Athletics is facing its greatest financial challenge yet, with a $3 million shortfall directly related to COVID-19, in addition to a 23% decrease in overall revenue due to limited fan capacity and other factors. The department has already taken significant cost containment actions that have directly impacted NIU student-athletes, coaches and operational staff.
Huskies Invest: The Campaign, is intended to mitigate some of the shortfalls while investing in the NIU student-athletes of today, who continue to work to build on the tradition and success established by their predecessors in Cardinal and Black.

That's possible, but it will cost you a $75,000 donation. For $100,000, he will write down your name and commit it to memory so he'll remember it the next time he sees you.

STF contacted me and was totally pissed that I forgot to mention the biggest benefit he is giving to donors of $50K and more: A coupon for a free hot dog at any NIU concessions stand! Because of the rarity of hot dogs, he considers this a top benefit. He did mention that there is a little restriction on the coupon, however. It states that if concessions runs out of hot dogs, the coupon is good for $1 off any other item. That STF really knows how to treat his donors!!

I go to the one in Munster with my parents every so often.It's unreal. The give like a huge meal like pot roast, soup or salad,dessert for 6.95 for seniors.
I was always partial to the Golden Bowl. The original in Dolton, then Lansing.
I am also know to have visited The Commander and my favorite, Petros, for the 4 course meal.
Good ghoulash. Pastitsio is good too, albeit mine in better.
