Rating the AAC - AusTxPony - 09-22-2020 09:28 AM

Rough season to rate so far, but:
UCF - Scary good
SMU - Offense rolling, defense improving
UC - Nice scrimmage win, we'll see what they have this weekend
Memphis - Good win early, but Covid challenged since
Navy - Found their mojo
Tulane - Upset at home
Tulsa - Way to hang in there for the almost upset
USF - Hope they can bounce back
Houston, Temple, ECU - yet to play

RE: Rating the AAC - fade2blac - 09-22-2020 09:48 AM

UCF - Overwhelmed a confident Georgia Tech.
Cincinnati - Looked really good against an undersized opponent.
SMU - Hard to argue with 2-0.
Memphis - Looked okay against Ark. State but points deducted for off-the-field drama/distractions.

Navy - Halftime lit a spark in their soul, let's see if that continues to grow.
Tulsa - Couldn't get out of their own way. Would have been #1 if they won.
Tulane - Came out hot but sleepwalked through the second half.

USF - Green UConn.

ECU - N/A
Houston - N/A
Temple - N/A

How about this, ECU can be purple UConn this week but then usf can go back to Green UConn for the rest of the season?

"Green UConn" records vs. AAC Teams

Tulsa 3-0
ECU 9-1
SMU 3-2
UCF 6-5
Tulane 1-1
Cincinnati 7-10
Memphis 4-6
Temple 2-4
Navy 1-2
Houston 2-4

We might take our lumps for a year, but we won't be down long enough for Purple UConn to get close to making it .500 against us.

Don't think we'll have much choice in the matter. We tried to get a more Green UConn matchup ahead of you guys. Wish we could have gotten UNC as a fluffer last week.

When you were in BCS should not count just like ECU's wins vs UCF when we were FCS.

I laughed out loud at Green UConn

You can't possibly be serious... wins only count when they're convenient for you? You do realize that you guys were the architects of your own delay there, right? UCF was offered first dibs on entry into CUSA before USF was, but you didn't want it. That stupid decision alone contributed to us ending up in what was then a better conference (CUSA vs. MAC), and allowed us to get into a BCS conference briefly even though you started your football program and played your first game almost 20 years before we did.

Why are you getting your panties in a bunch and calling me a troll? I am reviewing this season thus far and usf looks really bad this season. Sorry that being the conference bottom feeder offends you. You come back and start bringing up a bunch of old and unrelated stats from years ago. If you want to do that, bring up how many division or conference titles usf has and even regular UConn is better than you.

Umm... I never mentioned your name once. Talk about getting your panties in a bunch.

That said, it was possible to rank USF 11th without the snide remarks. Don't want none, don't start none...

BE IT KNOWN, that as of today, Tuesday, September 22nd, in the year Two Thousand Twenty, fade2blac suggested a new nickname for usf; and

WHEREAS; the usf school colors are gold and green; and

WHEREAS; they are currently the bottom-feeder of our league; and

WHEREAS; Blue UConn has departed our league for a more regional fit;

NOW, THEREFORE, we, the AAC BBS, hereby proclaim Green UConn to be an alternative nickname of usf, so help us god.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, St. H. Gink, and others.

Henceforth all last place teams will be referred to as [TEAM COLOR] UConn.

Totally fair, making Tulane Green UConn right now, to be joined by the losers of UCF/ECU as Black UConn/Purple UConn this week.

You know that was addressed to me. Get out of here with that nonsense, you were talking about "Green UConn" and posting troll memes.

Snide remarks? I barely even talked about usf, I only posted 10 letters about usf, which is the smallest comment of all the teams listed. You are so sensitive.

Even if UCF loses on Saturday, we would not qualify as the [TEAM COLOR] UConn. You must be terrible for multiple seasons, have historic blow-out losses, shutouts, etc.
