This is the game we’ve all been waiting for. You can’t be the best unless you beat the best and JMU gets one chance per year to beat a FBS team.
The last matchup was fun for 1 1/2 Quarters as the Dukes went toe to toe with the Heels leading 21-14. Then JMU ‘s defense never stopped UNC again losing 56-28 to Trubusky and many other future NFL players.
Back to reality, JMU isn’t playing this year. And Charlotte took their spot. That sucks big time. But wait a second, now Charlotte can’t play due to quarantines on their O-line. I am curious to see if they picked up anything from their game against App State last week. Haven’t heard any problems out of Boone yet.
This is bizarro world and JMU is just watching from the sideline.
Yet I see JMU practice started back today. That is weird. Practicing now but not playing while other teams are playing. I wonder how Cignetti feels about this. Someone get him a cold beer at Spotswood CC and have him spill his guts.
