Yes I mentioned him in the transfer portal thread. He has visited Ball St as well. Hopefully we land him.

I'll take your statement a step forward. These are probably recruits the program has been following so they (the PWO candidates) can follow the program and see what is happening personnel wise.

Signing day is next Wednesday. Complete lack of buzz/info on new recruits. Does that suggest our 2nd recruiting class will be mostly transfers whom are TBD? At dates TBD.
Will C.C. hold the LOI until he find recruits/transfers he likes? Could be Wednesday could be weeks later?

We seem to be racking up PWO commits. Maybe those are announced Feb 2. Also the JUCO DB should be signed. Yes to the two quarterbacks being signed and announced. Still would like,an immediate impact DL.

My guess is that is when we'll see transfer announced and signed.
It may well have been that we had 'silent verbals' and the players will be announced during the 2nd signing period as they (may, presumably) be students (and on scholarship) at their other school.
I don't see transfer athletes transferring and signing in December UNLESS the new school has an available scholarship. Otherwise, sign in Feb. and transfer during summer.

Is it correct to assume that there will be more high school kids getting PWOs at many schools rather than an immediate full scholarship because there are still 6 classes of players already in school? If so it'll be like this for a few more years.

Agree. And unlike 2021 there isn't the 'one class' of super seniors not counting against the 85 scholarship limit. Also, with the 4-game redshirt rule, there might be less 4 year players as more and more players are gaining a redshirt even with up to 4 games of play.

It appears we are looking at 2 other kickers as well. We haven't made any PWO offers because it appears we want a commit from this one.
