EDIT: OK, I figured it out. I see this site through Tapatalk and it doesn't show polls.
I understand why they are redesigning the skins, but those updated designs are about as exciting as frozen yogurt. I'm usually not one to criticize others creative expression, but man...

Main benefit seems to be a custom URL (eg Tribetalk.com). Tribetalk.com is currently taken, so we would have to come up with something else.
I still like my prior suggestion, which is very close to what we already have https://csnbbs.com/forum-691.html - just modify to "forum1693.com"

It's not really a custom url, the site just has redirects set up, but that's unrelated to the graphics.

If I understand it correctly, we do get a redirect URL of like TribeTalk.csnbbs.com, but you're correct - not a top level Domain.
