The figurehead is a double edged sword, that much is for sure true. But what you wrote there says more about your personal political preferences than it does about Liberty football.

Yeah that’s what I gathered from it. Idk how pointing out other people’s racist past is racist. I’m open to hearing why people feel like it is though (I’m not a Jerry fan).

But I also dont see the need in making points at this time.
To me, at least the way I was raised, pointing fingers is not the answer. Judge not, or be judged yourself.

I think he (JFJ) failed in tact. I think the intention was solid. I wouldn’t have gotten my message across in the manner he chose.

You dont have to believe Falwell is intentionally racist to believe there have been harmful effects. 10 years ago the black population at Liberty was at 10%, now its down to 4% despite athletic recruiting efforts.
