Someone at star news needs to do some fact checking. If they did they'd find out we've played wfu a lot more than 3 times not to mention the fact the the ezu series has gone on a whole lot longer than 8 games. We've played wfu 13 times & ezu 37. If you're going to print something get it right!

From what I've heard Dooley doesn't want to play home and homes with us anymore. Wants ECU to schedule as many buy games as possible for non-conference.

I read this morning that ezu is facing a $10 million deficit this fiscal year. I was unable to read the complete article from the greenville newspaper online. A similar article in this morning's jacksonville daily news stated there were big drops in pirate club revenues and a tower of suites at ficklen that was initially figured to make huge profits ($30 million?) over 30 years is now projected to lose several million over the same time frame. It also stated several programs were on the chopping block. It is my guess that because of Title IX, any sports dropped would probably be mens.
My recollection of the precise figures might be somewhat off but nonetheless there are problems. Looks like troubled times in "armpit county". I hope we can avoid troubles at the Dub.

Conferences require schools to field a minimum number of sports so not sure how many programs they can cut. Conferences could start lowering that required number soon if schools can't field teams
