We are still in a 3-way tie for first place. We need this one.
The Mountaineers are 10-9 on the season and 4-4 in conference. Their best win may have been over Ga Southern in Boone. Last time out they beat Ark State in OT.
They probably will start 6-9, 6-9, 6-3 across the front line. They have four players averaging double figures, led by 6-2 junior Justin Forrest at 18.5 ppg. He shoots far more 3-pointers than anyone on the team, but he is terrible (29.4%), so let him blast away. Isaac Johnson (6-9) is actually their best shooter.
They are very poor from the arc (29.8%), but their defense is pretty stout. They are essentially even on the boards and have more turnovers than assists.
Sagarin picks App State by 3 (essentially home-court advantage).
RealtimeRPI picks them by 5.
This is a game that we ought to win. Our depth on the front line ought to give them fits.

Long night for Lottie. 7 turnovers and fouled out.
Huge night for Stulic. 18 points 6 boards
We were plus-9 on the boards.
Excellent defense. Held them to 33% overall and 31% from the arc.
Great effort all the way around.
