No matter what the NET, KenPom, RPI, BPI or whatever the many metrics say, for those of you who saw/streamed a MAC basketball game or two, this weekend, who passed the EYE TEST.
And perhaps equally important, what teams deserve a second look?

NIU win at Buffalo was impressive. I'm not ready to buy them as a contender, but I do think German is the best pure scorer in the MAC this season. When he gets hot he can take over a game. That makes them a dangerous opponent come March.
Akron & Kent look to be living up to the early hype. As for BGSU, lets see how they rebound. This was only Turner's 2nd game back.
