OT: Bowl Games/Final 4. - BDKJMU - 12-28-2019 06:15 PM

The LSU/Oklahoma game is a JOKE. LSU is DESTROYING no defense Oklahoma from the no defense Big 12 49-14, with 495 yds of offense AT THE HALF.04-jawdrop All the LSU TDs offensive. LSU could literally put up 98 points and 1,000 yards if they wanted to. Oklahoma being in the final 4 is a joke. Heck, a Bama/LSU rematch would have been far better than this clown show.

Nah Bama minus Tua is not the same team. Blowouts like this make me think it'll be harder to have the playoffs expanded to more teams.

I was watching some of the Camping World Bowl today (yeah, that is a real bowl game) and the 65,000-seat Orlando stadium looked like it was about 80% full. Pretty good showing, I thought.

Watching Clemson/Ohio State right now. The speed on both sides of the ball is incredible! I like Ohio State to win it all.

Attendance was 46948 out of 70000. Travel to Orlando is easy and reasonable and Notre Dame has a huge following so I’m not surprised.

Bama with anyone at QB would have played LSU closer. Oklahoma wouldn’t have finished better than 4th in the SEC West.

Agreed that laugher did nothing but harm the argument for playoff expansion.

Thank you, BDK.

My point is there was very good attendance at this bowl game which we have been told is only one of many meaningless bowl games.

Orlando is not exactly between Iowa and Indiana.

So far, none of these playoff games are competitive.

RE: OT: Bowl Games/Final 4. - BDKJMU - 12-28-2019 09:42 PM

That’s twice in 2 games the booth has called a penalty where no flag was thrown on the field. Idiotic.

Don't look now, but Clemson just pulled to 16-14

Yeah, this is a decent game. Nothing like the 1st one.

RE: OT: Bowl Games/Final 4. - hburg - 12-28-2019 10:06 PM

Seems like the game changed when the OSU player was ejected for targeting on the QB.

Outside of the CFP the bowls really are meaningless and there are few schools that travel well enough on a national level. Notre Dame and Penn State are two of the best I can think of, with it being in Orlando makes it an easy getaway.

Targeting is the worst rule in sports and changed the OSU/Clemson game immensely

Zebras are not being kind to the buckeyes.

Glad to see Ohio State lose. Nice comeback from Clemson.

Talking heads using this as an excuse to not expand CFP

Overheard a small group watching this game tonight say "If you 'win' Division 2 you get to move up to Division 1" ... pretty sure they were referring to FCS, fascinating how uninformed average folks can be.
