. . . Trade ‘em for Liberty?

There was a time when LU would of jumped at that but that was a different time. The SBC is great we just are on a different path and are enjoying it.
Come on now. You had to beat NMSU twic to get in a bowl.

And then we beat GS at the bowl......so does that mean GS deserves a bowl less than us?

That’s kind of surprising when Statesboro is, what, four hours from Orlando???

This. Odd that Liberty had every bit as many fans as GaSo. I thought for sure there would be more southern fans. But the 21st is a hard Saturday to make work for a lot of people being so close to Christmas, etc.

Liberty did not have as many fans there as Georgia Southern. I was at the game and can tell you that’s a lie.

I can understand why TXST fans would want to trade GS for Liberty since y’all have never beaten us in the FBS

This is the SBC I know. Loves to win but can’t take a loss. I enjoyed playing GS and I could tell even if there was 1 second on the clock they would play with everything they had. I respect all the teams we play but the hate from posters like yourself make the SBC look bad.

Wow. That is hard to believe. I mean our 1st year we played San Jose State that brought no one.

I don't think that line will work here bud. No matter how many times I say it, people who are hundreds to thousands of miles away always seem to be able to have a better view than my eyewitness accounts.

Congrats on the bowl victory liberty. You guys are in a unique situation and will be better served as an FBS independent IMO.... y’all are on the right track.

That game was a boiled down into concentrate version of the entire 2019 season.

Hail southern

Georgia Southern - in game photo
Liberty - pregame photo

I was at the game also. There may have been more GS fans, but those pictures are a misrepresentation.
