She's in some pretty exalted company. Kamiah's the second JMU player named to a national award watchlist this season. Kayla Cooper-Williams was named to the Lisa Leslie Award watchlist earlier. I think she is hands down the best player this year, but time will tell if someone can dethrone her. We've had excellent players, but this group has meshed a lot better than the others. The chemistry just seems a lot better. And having two on national watchlists says a lot also. The slow starts need to stop though. |
