Goodbye UConn Fooball - Digetydog - 11-30-2019 11:25 AM

3 Wins in 2013
1 Win in 2014
4 Wins vs only 4 losses in 2015
1 Win in 2016
2 Wins in 2017
0 Wins in 2018
0 Wins in 2019

Your 1.5 Wins per season will be missed.
Your ridiculous CivilConflict trophy is still missing.
Your whining about the TV Contract screwing UConn WBB will be missed.

How will we cope?

Their fans still blame all that on this conference. Worst case of "The Nile" I've ever seen.

We all thought we were getting a solid football program and an elite men's basketball program. Instead, we got the Civil conFLiCT and Kevin Ollie. Good riddance.

Schools that have won legit National Championships under the AAC banner: UCONN (1 MBB, 3 WBB).

P6 tho!

Are these parting shots necessary?

They’re going back to their historic regional rivalries . . . In the Midwest.

Wait...UCONN Football once played in the AAC? I thought they were in the Colonial Conf.

UCF with the worst winning % vs UCONN Football among all AAC teams. 03-lmfao

You aren't wrong

"Are these parting shots necessary?"

I know that the UConn fans think the same way about the AAC... That they "signed up for" the BCS Big East and instead "got stuck" with a bunch of "never were" programs. I always hate that crap, so I will not do the same. There's no need to crap on them, just as there is no need for them to crap on us.

Good bye, UConn Football. That's all that really needs to be said.

Frick em and gtfo. We lost southern miss for those aholes. Bad trade.

Losing UConn is bittersweet for this UC fan: they along with USF are our links to the Big East (I get Temple was in the Big East too but I am referring to 2005-2011). After the conference bailed on us UC and UConn has some serious battles on the hardwood.

Best of luck to UConn going forward, especially since their interests do not interfere with UC’s interests. Maybe we’ll meet up again OOC in hoops down the line.

Sorry you aren't propped up by northern powder puffs.

They sucked. How many are ranked?

For the life of me, I can never figure out the fascination that CUSA fans have with being in CUSA... All y'all seem to spend time pining away for the old days; nothing ever stopped you from scheduling Southern Miss or even staying in CUSA when the old BE came calling. You would think that somehow we forced Memphis to come over here...

RE: Goodbye UConn Fooball - vaNtR - 11-30-2019 01:46 PM

Wish it worked out with UConn as they are a very good school and MBB will be missed; however, that football program is an albatross. If the program is alive in 5-10 years it will be in the FCS.
