The 15 year VT winning streak against UVA was somewhat laughable, though the Cavs ended it today in a pretty entertaining game. Great job that Bronco Mendenhall is doing in Charlottesville.

No, the VT loss means that it is very likely that the Orange Bowl BOD will have to decide which unranked ACC team plays in the Orange Bowl, because Clemson will probably be the only ranked ACC team in the final CFP top 25.

How can AP give favors to conferences when the voting is done by reporters? It's not like the AP poll is totally in-house, and I know enough people who have/had ballots that AP has never contacted them with anything other than the ballot. And the reporters have no incentive to put Virginia in as a favor to anyone (the Mid-Atlantic voters will probably have them higher anyway just because of familiarity bias).

UK managed to go 3-5 in the SEC w/o a QB (he's a converted receiver) and with virtually no ability to pass beyond 5 yards all season.
