Isaiah Stokes transferred to the University of Memphis on 8/28/19 and applied for a waiver. The NCAA has yet to act despite Florida's cooperation.
What is the status of waiver requests for your school?
The delays are yet another sign of the NCAA's incompetence and neglect.

He applied for a waiver on 8/29/19? Yeah, he's behind our guys that submitted in February and March.
They are trying to make it difficult as over 700 kids applied for waivers.

It really shouldn't be rocket science.
-Set the criteria for what constitutes a waiver to be approved.
-Have a date where all waivers must be applied for to allow the waiver to be approved before the season starts.
-Approve or deny those waivers before the season starts.
-Set a timeline for appealing a waiver that has been denied.
-Any waivers that were after the date set a timeline when they will be approved.
It's the not knowing when it will be or if it will be approved that is the real issue.

The NCAA is willing to start compensating players yet waiver delays. Shows who pays the bills.

Tulsa's second waiver was denied. I don't think we have ever had a waiver approved by the NCAA for basketball (I think we have had one approved for football), but all time we are like 1 for 50...

I really don’t understand how the NCAA can rule on one kid in say July; and yet not rule on another well into November. You talk about bull**** for the kids. Almost seems unlawful to have some playing while others still don’t even have an answer! Crazy
