The OT rule is strange. It’s like a hockey shootout. Probably should just have ties if they don’t want to keep playing. It felt cheap, and no not because the Heels lost. They had plenty of opportunities to put it away.

I'd say that Les Miles has Kansas looking respectable way ahead of schedule! Considering what he had to work with he's having a heckuva great coaching year.

He's got an outstanding QB, a great RB, a couple really good receivers. His defense never quit but couldn't keep up with the Texas speed. I don't think I've seen a better passer all season than Stanley of Kansas. He put it right on the money even falling down. He knew when to release. Did a good job checking off. Texas defense (especially secondary) was young and not very deep and has a lot of injuries and he took full advantage of it.
Teams combined for 50 points in the 4th quarter.

And Les didn't make any boneheaded clock decisions in the last 2 minutes as is his custom. The only mistake KU made in clock management was scoring too quick and leaving Texas 1:11 to go down and get the FG.

It's cheap. It's just a sorry way to end a hard fought football game.
I've long felt that points in OT should be earned. I think the schools should start at midfield. That way you have to earn 20 yards before you can kick a field goal. Right now both start in field goal range. If you started at the 50 I bet a lot more games would be decided in that first overtime.
Once you've gone 3 OT's it should just end in a tie.

I agree. Even if App is undefeated, they will not get a bid over a one-loss AAC champ, they need the AAC champ to have two losses to get in.

Cuse has 5 winnable games left against mediocre teams, but as a mediocre team themselves they are all losable as well, starting with at FSU.

ACC refs are horrendous to our team so far...I figure 5 wins is tops since our OL is so bad.
AAC refs are no better. I do not blame refs anymore.
