Yesterday was a pretty good day for the Bears. Fields and the offense continued their progression and they lost thus moving up to 12th in the current projected draft order. It was a good day in a tank season.

NFC picture is starting to take shape. Philly and Dallas are top shelf, Minnesota and SF are starting to emerge as potential threats and Seattle remain intriguing (sum is better than the parts, so I'm impressed, but don't think they're contenders). Personally, I'd remove the Vikings too and handicap it as a three team race in the NFC.

Drake Maye has 600 yards rushing this year on 147 attempts in 11 games. Maye isn’t a running QB and no one would argue he is. To answer your question, no; JF sophomore stats don’t confirm he’s a running QB. Looking at college stats, box scores and watching a few highlights is not the same as watching a guy play.

I’m not saying he’s a finished product or that those other guys are busts, but he’s shown the most upside to this point. Anyone running to a MB to declare “fun while it lasted” is looking (and hoping) for Fields to fail.

Nothing unfortunate about that. He's legit, and his teammates respond to him. He proved there was something there last year in the Bengals game and the first drive of the Colts game (before his unfortunate injury). Today reaffirmed that.
