Okay, I will grow a pair and take it like a man. Dude. It was big news this weekend. Like Bricks said… Dak brought a lot of this on himself. You’re not privy to some private texts with some of us where we berate each other and tear each other up pretty good. Posting a funny meme about Dak and his coach making one of the worst play calls of all time… that’s nothing. Lol Trust me. SN08 gets beat up for being a Jets fan more than ANY of us joke on the Cowboys combined. Well, because the Jets are trash. How do you think that has worked out for me for the last 15 years? Like I said, what is said here is a tiny smidge of the trash talk that goes back and forth between a few of us. Only difference, is I know the Bills are he better team(and knew that going in) 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - B_Hawk06 - 01-18-2022 12:41 PM (01-18-2022 12:36 PM)Seahawkhoops Wrote:(01-18-2022 12:18 PM)B_Hawk06 Wrote: Furthermore, I’m a Bills fan and Hoops is a Patriots fan. I basically hog tied him, told him he has a purrty mouth, and told him to squeal like a pig. For four full quarters. Did it relieve me of 20 years of misery at the hands of the most cheating team in football? No. But the Josh Allen era is here to stay, and my baby girl Hoops here knows it. I have a feeling you'll be talking about the past a lot more in the years to come. You're casually chalking this year up to a season where the expectations were low, but that is the reality for all franchises with meh QBs. He made some very good throws against a great Bills D last weekend but he wasn't helped by drops etc. Don't be a hater because the bears chose the wrong guy. Mac fits the system really well and far exceeded my expectations in year 1.(01-18-2022 02:56 PM)Seahawkhoops Wrote:(01-18-2022 02:45 PM)billthebighawksfan Wrote:Y'all sure talk about the past a lot, but, I get it Bill that's all ya got. Having a competent coach will be really helpful. Truth of the matter is neither of us know what Mac or Fields will turn into. If you are putting the loss on Mac last weekend, you are sorely mistaken, The D didn't get a single stop, not 1 all night long. I had flashbacks to the Philly super bowl, only worse.(01-18-2022 04:03 PM)Seahawkhoops Wrote:(01-18-2022 03:58 PM)bricksnivy Wrote:I don't think Mac is a Meh Qb at all. Let's start a camp fire and talk about what the world was like in 1995, when the Cowboys were relevant I'm really not putting the loss on him at all, it just seems that winning a SB requires an elite QB and I don't see him as that. If NE puts the same amount of talent around him as he had at Bama, then it doesn't matter, but that isn't realistic. But, your point is well taken, it's too early to say exactly what he's capable of as an NFL starter. Do you think he has top 12 in the league potential? To be top 5 in the AFC he's going to have to pass Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson or Herbert. That is a lot of young talent to have to go through every year in the playoffs. Not for nothing, everyone of your picks for this weekend coincided with the team that is best under center. |
