RE: 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - billthebighawksfan - 10-16-2021 12:36 AM It depends on the defense and what they are giving up and when you have a wizard throwing the ball, it can happen. I'm a bit worried about my Cowboys defensive front right about now with the DT/DE ongoing injuries. Without their studs, they simply aren't getting sacks or good hurries. It will get better in about 4-5 weeks when we get our main guys back but they can't continue to rely on off the charts cornerback play and out-scoring teams every week. The Cowboys need to have another good offensive showing again this week otherwise, it will be comptitive in Foxboro. A young g Mac Jones exposed that D some today, be glad you got out of Foxboro with a W RE: 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - billthebighawksfan - 10-17-2021 09:31 PM Cowboys have their 2 best pass rushers injured and it has really hurt them. They will be back in 3-4 weeks and then look out! Yes, Pats almost pulled a major upset but in the end, Dallas overcame the refs and terrible coaching to still win. The talent gap between the 2 teams was apparent. Give the Patriots credit for hanging close to force OT! 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - Seahawkhoops - 10-17-2021 09:40 PM (10-17-2021 09:31 PM)billthebighawksfan Wrote: Cowboys have their 2 best pass rushers injured and it has really hurt them. Lemme guess it wasn’t a fumble at the goal line? Dallas has weapons, but I don't see championship caliber yet. It feels like this team is at least a year away, but maybe they can get there sooner than that. I don't think the soft schedule will help them in that regard though. Need to be stretched and tested before the playoffs. RE: 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - billthebighawksfan - 10-18-2021 10:51 AM Coaching was a difference and fumbling at the goal line which cost them 7 points. It should have never been this close but it was. Pats played a good game so they should be proud of the effort. RE: 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - billthebighawksfan - 10-20-2021 08:57 PM Late in the game with the holding call that was debatable. It doesn’t matter, Cowboys won the game. RE: 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - dan10 - 12-10-2021 10:07 AM Should be a great finish for the season. Most balanced records ever seen thus far. Little to no separation in either conference. Also the sad news that Demaryius Thomas passed away at age 33. Wasnt sure where else to put that. Far too young. Very sad news about Thomas. Internet is already speculating and the conspiracy theories immediately followed, vaccine, car crash, or football related head trauma. I've seen multiple reports that it was a seizure and that he had been struggling with them recently and that was confirmed by a family member. So, the head trauma questions are real. But, that will be the case any time any former football player dies from anything like that.(12-10-2021 10:08 AM)Seahawkhoops Wrote:(12-10-2021 10:07 AM)dan10 Wrote: Should be a great finish for the season. The general curiosity with sudden and tragic loss of life will always generate questions. I've heard the same regarding seizures and I think questioning the relationship to football is fair. While football didnt help, not sure conspiracy theories are needed. His seizures started after a serious car accident in Feb 2019. I think its safe to assume the trauma from that accident is the main cause. Regardless, at 33, its never good to see sudden death RE: 2019-2021 NFL Regular Season - bricksnivy - 12-13-2021 09:04 AM I'm begging Rodgers to sign somewhere other than GB, and for a new coach and GM. Bears are unwatchable. It's not very comforting, but I do take some solace knowing that Green Bay hasn't capitalized on his career. 29 years of Farve and Rodgers and just two championships. |
