Whoaaa, i look at Cam's numbers even prior to Det last year and i see nothing even close to MVP. I've been beating the Cam is over rated drum ever since he came crashing down after his ONE good year. Comparing him to Luck? Luck had a better QBR every single year except the one great year CAm had and even that year Cam was barely better. Cam had a chance when he could run. He's always been a borderline terrible pocket passer. Now that he's not running............... The only thing Cam has in common with Luck is their uncanny ability to get injured

LOL at the Cam had only ONE good season... Come on dude, he lead his team to the playoffs 4 out of 5 years and made 3 pro bowls. He had one historically great season, and a few other good seasons. As for Andrew Luck, he never won MVP, never made a super bowl, and was never fully vested in football. I'd take the past decade with Cam over Andrew Luck any day.

There is no doubt he's been good in some spurts, but IMO, the overall body of work just isn't there. And he's proven to choke on the biggest stage.
I've had this conversation quite a few times with a good friend who is a huge Cam guy. Even he is thinking it's time to move on.

I'm no medical expert, but I'd take a guess that playing with mono for a week didn't do him any favors in terms of getting over it. It likely compounded it due to the energy he was expending, thus making the recovery time longer.
