If a team that is presently in C-USA leaves who should replace them. Since we don’t know what team pick a replacement for each division.
East - Liberty
West - South Alabama

I hope what ever comes next that impacts the conference will cause a total collapse of it and cause a multi conference realignment that produces meaningful conferences and divisions. I will play though.

Add no one. The league is too big as it is for the small revenue the league generates.
However, if we did then App St and Ark St seem like good options to me.

I think if we lost one then we might as well backfill. The revenue is so small coming from the conference that dividing the payout by one more is hardly any consideration and wouldn't be worth dealing with uneven distributions.

These are the only teams I would be ok with. I'm also assuming none of the MAC teams would be willing to join.

As others have said, I would prefer CUSA East to break away and form a new Eastern based conference. The Little East lol

Honestly no matter what happens with the AAC. This should be the time to bust up the current C-USA and Sunbelt. Rename them whatever but its not working.
