Lots of changes in Philly. Not sure they will be handled well. Martelli and Dunphy have been at it a long time. Be interesting to see which direction both programs go. Rumors for St Joes are mildly entertaining, again those are fans rumors, not actual rumors. They sure do love their nostalgia.

Really sad to hear. I think there are a lot of fans who think that SJU should be just as good as Villanova or that 2004 should be the norm. They just went to the NCAA Tournament 3 years ago, which SHOULD be the goal for a program like that. I think that harsh realities will set in for that program over the next 10 years when they don't have a guy like Phil to be the face of the Hawk.

Let them be arrogant. It is the Philly way. If the hire goes the way their fans want, there is a good chance they will be wishing Phil were still around. They do think 2004 should be the norm, let them believe that. They will continue to be disgruntled and dissatisfied.
