The third trimester extends from the 28th week of pregnancy up until birth, and polls consistently show that nearly 80 percent of Americans oppose such late abortions.
“Are you for third-trimester abortions?” an attendee of the campaign event in Cleveland asked O’Rourke, before describing the medical alternatives to such a procedure and disputing the medical necessity of late-term abortions. “Are you going to protect the lives of third-trimester babies? … Are you for or against third-trimester abortions?”

It takes them 28 seconds to decide whether or not to have unprotected sex, risking not only pregnancy, but being legally 'tied' to their sexual partner for 18 years... but they can't decide whether or not to have an abortion?
I'm all for a woman's right to choose... but I think it reasonable to encourage sexually active people to take cheap pregnancy tests every 30 days and give people maybe 30 days to decide what to do about it.
Anything else is arguably 'cruel and unusual punishment' for the unborn

I think Robert Francis O'Rourke has actually endorsed fourth-trimester abortions, which seems to be becoming the democrat position of choice. If the baby manages to survive an abortion attempt, then make it comfortable until you kill it.
I'm generally pro-choice. But this is beyond absurd.
