NU will face rival BU Friday afternoon at 4pm at Boston Garden in one semifinal after the Rat Dogs upset UMass-Lowell in the best of three series.
In the other semifinal, UMass will play BC after the Eagles upset Providence.
Both BU and BC have to win the Hockey East Championship to make the NCAA Tournament.

Really tough luck for Providence. They are an excellent team and now have a good chance to miss the NCAA's altogether.
Happy to play BU. We need to start playing better as a team. I know Cayden is amazing, but it's unfair to rely on him as much as we have been these last 2 months. At the same time there's nothing wrong with having the best goalie the country!
