NateBoerboom out of Great Bridge is getting some interest from ODU but word is his father is going to be an issue. Advertised as a "Package Deal". The kid has talent, he has played just about every position last year for an awful Great Bridge team. Already has an offer from VT.

Neat. Ditches GB to coach college ball, gets sent back down to the minors, can't find a way back on his own so leverages his son (allegedly).
Let VT have this one.

Yeah, as much as I'd like a kid from my old high school to come to ODU, I'd say no thanks on that.
And, I mean, wouldn't it be awkward for his dad? All the other coaches would freeze him out I'd think, knowing he doesn't necessarily deserve it.

Rumor was Shuler Bentley's kid brother was a package deal with his dad, but not sure if it ever happened.

I could be misremembering or maybe my perception is off, but it sure seems like recruits are a bit more excited in willing to talk about Old Dominion on social media right now. My take is the new coaches’ culture, excitement, and better recruiting ability is starting to make and impact and impression on these future monarchs. Only time will tell though.

Not father/son but Mitch Mustain was a package deal with Gus Malzahn.
