Just an awful 1-0 loss to Merrimack, a team NU had pounded badly the first 2 games of the year. Blew a chance to move into 1st place in Hockey East.
Merrimack’s goalie made 42 saves and NU hit the post three times as their 8-game winning streak was snapped.
Ryan Ruck has played greatness in net for NU with Cayden Primeau playing for Team USA in the IIHF World Junior Championship tourney.
