Here is the 2nd game of the opening road slate for CAA play. We get to play another likely top 3 team in Hofstra. Hofstra destroyed Delaware in their opener. Hofstra is a typical team with a lot of offense and an improved but still weak defense. Unfortunately we cant play defense so Hofstra is likely to make us look foolish. We had a great effort in only losing by 10 to NU, but I dont think we keep this one that close, despite our history in having tight games with Hofstra. The good news is we will be done with 2 of the toughest road games after today.

Vegas: Hofstra by 13.5

I'll take Drexel with the points on this one. Unless the team is dominant, you usually don't see a team blow out two conference opponents in a row. I would expect Drexel to keep the game much closer than Delaware could.

Within 5:35, Hofstra led by 14. It's 25-11. Wright-Foreman has 8 points. Hofstra has made 5 of 7 threes.

Edit: Hofstra led 47-27 at halftime, before you started shooting well. Hofstra's largest lead was 22, which was done four times, and the last time was 61-39 with 15:33 left. You went on a 14-2 run in 4:17 to go down 70-64 with 8:40 left. Hofstra got the lead back up to 18, and won 89-75.

Harper had 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Demir had 15 points and 5 rebounds. Butler had 6 points and led you with 7 rebounds. Wynter scored 10 and tied for the team lead with 4 assists. JWF scored 34. Hofstra had all five starters reach double-digits with only 4 bench points. Desure Buie had the only double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.

The only comment I have to make about this game is that the Eagles won and clinched the playoffs.

Funny how this conference goes. Hofstra destroys Delaware, who then turns right back around and upsets Northeastern. Hofstra is going to lose games they shouldnt due to their defense, but man can they score and look good when their movement is there.

Hofstra leads the CAA in points per game allowed at 66.8. In the last 5 complete seasons, Hofstra has allowed at least 11 three-pointers in 25 games for an average of 5 times. This season Hofstra has not allowed at least 11 three-pointers.
