Nice win against a pesky Howard team. Few observations.
- Boggs is doing her usual stuff scoring 20 pts., but she needs to minimize TOs.
- We miss Abby Randle's scoring in the middle. We have a lot of depth in the middle, but not much scoring.
- Two fresh. (Hodgson/Krause) playing extensively. We have a sharpshooter in Krause who is not afraid to shoot.

Unfortunately I was not able to watch the game but Krause had impressive stats in the box score. I thought she looked good in game 1, also.
Hodgson did not score a lot but she played 35 minutes and apparently/hopefully will be a nice steadying influence at the point.

Hodgson is a good athlete. She's bigger than Green and is physical on defense. She's the opposite of Krause. Krause is like a Paul Rowley equivalent on the ladies team. None of the centers are anywhere near as talented as Rendle. Birdsong didn't look nervous last night and started off real well. This team will jell as the season goes on.

Interesting and unusual that the women played on the same day and at the same time as the men. The same thing will happen this Saturday at 4:00. I listened to the men on audio and watched the women on video (with the audio muted). Worked pretty well, although I would not want to do it regularly.

Boggs now with 26 pts and 10 rebs. We are really going to miss her next season.

Harper Birdsong scored 16 against her former school. Everybody played (although Caroline Stover only got 12 seconds). Nice end to OOC play.
