Coach McNeill wears the "interim" tag well. Texas Tech named him the interim FBHC (after firing Leach) for their bowl game which they won. Tech then let him go (back to his alma mater ECU) in favor of Tommy Tubberville -- who later moved on to Cinncy. Neither Tech nor ECU has enjoyed their fans desired level of success after firing McNeill.

McNeill really is one of the 'good-guys' in the sport of football. Why the let the athletic director, Compher, get away with firing McNeill is beyond belief.
