Look how many bodies could be squeezed into in the lower half of Trask in those (pre seat-back) days. Talk about a full Trask being a snake pit for opponents !

They packed um in there tight. I can only imagine how loud it was in there.

Couldn't get away with blocking the corners and walkways like that today.

This is why people fell in love with college basketball

The noise was deafening. It was probably as close to "big time" as it has ever been. Had Robinson's final shot not gone down I am not sure Trask would have been left standing. Despite the loss, quite possibly the greatest game in Trask history.

Wow... I had never even heard about this game before. The sound the crowd made after the shot went in is horrifying lol, cheerleaders were in tears, David Robinson was a bad man. At least he went on to become a top 50 player in NBA history, nothing to be ashamed of there.

I was at that game. Exciting contest, Trask was rocking. I sat in stunned silence for about 10 minutes after the game winning shot. Couldn't even force myself to go down to Reddogs after the game...sad...but still a great atmosphere in Trask that night.

Lol, never seen this before. Saw myself in the crowd after the delay with :08 left in the game when we took the lead. That shot by Robinson is engrained in my mind like the NCSU dunk to end the national championship game. Trask went from the loudest place i'd ever been to the quietest in one second.

Geez.
