Writer makes it sound very indepth but it only has a handful of examples and a couple stats.

Short synopsis, since 2001 most major conference coaches don't get fired. Those who do usually get five years, examples of less than five years are the exception and mostly warranted.

It's a basic bs piece that pushes the fire now agenda. Examples of his cherry picking. He lops off this current year for his 35%-37% of coaches are fired. Admitting that none of the coaches hired last year were fired this year. However I am sure that if he cut of the previous two/three years the rate of firing would jump drastically. After all it went up 2% on one year in a time period we know had no firings. He mentions the short tenure (3 years or less) at a few places but doesn't discuss the long term positioning of those programs as a result. He uses 18 years to discuss a topic many feel has accelerated in the last 4 years.
