Here is what we know so far. Last year we played 12 Non Conference games.

This is the best home schedule we have had in a long time. Season will kick off with a P5 team visiting and be followed up with home games with quality competition in UNCG and a favorite of mine Davidson. Throw in the always fun ECU atmosphere and their new coach and I cannot think of a better non conference home schedule in this team's history.

ACC, Pac-12, A-10, and AAC all represented on our schedule to date, with 3/4 of those being home games, and the ACC team coming to Trask next year.
About as good a schedule as anyone could possibly hope for over the next 2 seasons.

Also McGrath said he likes to balance the schedule with some neutral site games. So I assume we will play in one of the many holiday tournaments. Though it would be nice to play in one that at least has a video stream this year.

I am conflicted. I am a fan of Claflin...but not of playing BS Non-DI games.
Solution? Play only DI teams, and take Claflin to ease the pain that might come from possibly losing to teams that are actually good!

To be fair, both of the Non-D1 programs we played were tie-in games with the Regular Season Tournaments we played in. So you kind of have to take the good with the bad. Keatts scheduled teams like Claflin and Mount Olive after exam week, so they would have an inferior opponent after a week of focusing on school. Don't be shocked if there is a Non-D1 program on the schedule this year, but I can almost guarantee it's related to whatever tournament we are playing in.

UNC-CH released their non-conference schedule today. They host UNCW on 12/5/18.
UNC-CH plays Stanford 11/12/18. Maybe the UNCW-Stanford game will be shortly before or after that game.

The old man did correct the date and they are playing us on the same East Coast trip. November 12th is a Monday, so it's possible it will be a weekend game.

That is looking like a great schedule guys. Now, if we can get the other CAA schools to upgrade as well, we might have something for 18-19. Minimum, we need 3 big games per school. You guys certainly have that covered.

Thought best scheduling we had was the year we played UMass and Mississippi St on a Saturday and Sunday the year after both were in the Final Four the year before.
