Wonder who will get the WCC spot. Not to many options in the Big West. And the WAC looks like its falling even bigger than it did when it lost football. If I was the WCC and wanted to fill the spot I think I call New Mexico State. If not them maybe Grand Canyon.

I wonder if they'll continue playing the best of the WCC in MBB, St. Mary's is still better than much of the MWC, no reason from the Zags end not to wanna sign a multi-year home and home with the Gaels.

Mwc has a lot more attractive programs than we currently do. Why would a basketball powerhouse join cusa? Not that gonzaga would have been an option here anyway, I just mean in general.
We are only going to be attractive to an fcs looking to move up.

It's not necessarily about adding programs, it's about doing things to improve perception of the league and get people talking about Conference USA. FAU hiring Lane Kiffin has gotten the league more attention than anything Judy has done while commissioner.

Why would VCU and Dayton have any interest in joining CUSA? The Atlantic 10 is a much better conference than CUSA.

The only programs I think would say yes would be FGCU, JMU, Belmont, Evansville.

I'm not so sure about Belmont, nor do I think as a small, Christian private, that they make much sense from our end either.
I wouldn't be against FGCU IF we were going to add some non football members but as for a second? JMU would want a full invite and we don't need another football member. UNCG? Would Chattanooga be interested while keeping their football FCS?
Most non football members that would make any sense, are already in better conferences.

its sad but you can't help but laugh.
Why in the **** would CUSA be adding more schools, much less a basketball only school to 14 others playing football? Why would a basketball only school join a conference like CUSA? Judy might be a wart but the most prominent wart is the 14 basketball programs in this conference that just can't win enough OOC games to move up the food chain.
Judy is not dribbling or shooting the ball
As I said it would be sad if not so ******* funny at the way some fans see their problems and others
