Great effort by Arizona so far. They are within one of the Bulls with about a minute to half time. Bulls obvious superiority has allowed them to outshoot he Desert Rats in spite of getting ZERO free games grows. Refs clearly trying to give the underdog a leg up.

I was going to praise the refs because it was nice seeing a game where the refs didn't call a million fouls.
Then they 7 fouls on UB in a span from the 6:53 to 1:31 remaining marks.
Most were legit calls but what irritates me is that Arizona has gotten away with a few really blatant fouls.
40 seconds left in the half Wes Clark was smacked pretty good on the elbow on his layup attempt, then Nick Perkins got the rebound and was smacked pretty good on the head. DVR slo-mo definitely confirms both. Clark, Perkins and Oats all were yelling at the refs about it.
Massinburg got knocked over on a 3-pt try earlier by Ayton and didn't get the call. He did stick out his leg a little bit to try to draw the foul but Ayton got a lot more than just the leg.
Perkins was called for a charge then not long after Caruthers stood in to take a charge, got bowled over and it was a play on leading to an uncontested dunk.

I’ll take the halftime lead. But UB is gonna have to hit lights out from three-land in the second half. Because clearly Arizona doesn’t commit any fouls and UB will get no free throws

Great to see Buffalo put the screws to Arizona! A lot of UC people were freaking out when they nearly beat us, but Buffalo has proven to be a really strong team. Hopefully we can meet again in the elite 8!

Love seeing a MAC team win. Buffalo has the horses to get another win or two. They won't be surprising Kentucky. Buffalo isn't just good - they're a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
